The car is in super shape. It is not perfect but as nice of a "limited" as you will find anytime soon. It was owned by a minister from new till about 2012. He cherished the car. Never smoked in, never abused, always garaged and not driven in the winter. The body does not have rust. The trunk is like looking back to 1976. The paint is very nice with the exception of a spot on the hood and left rear door. The chrome is super, the trim and moldings are super. Every single light on the inside and outside work.. I mean every SINGLE light... and there is a lot of courtesy lights. Glove box, trunk, marker lights, tail lights original 1976 headlights, turn lights, corner marker lights when turning (light up side fog lights) door panel lights, dome and map reading lights, clock lights, floor board lights, dash lights.. they all work. The engine starts with the quick touch of the key. The fast idle works as it should (choke) the engine has zero noise and zero smoke.. none. Its quiet smooth and powerful. The exhaust is newer and sounds nice at the tail pipe and quiet and 75. No whistling noise at windows either... The windshield wipers and washer fluid work as they should. It stops smooth with no pulsating or noise...firm and even. It has the original master cylinder with the paper sticker from new on the side. It has a new air cleaner, new copper heater core and blower motor. It was done correctly and is not a cheap fix or patch job.. The radio works, the blinkers work and go off as they should when turning back straight. The speed alert works, the cruise control works. The door locks are quick and snappy and the windows go up and down fast and smooth in their tracks. They are not loose and rattling from people slamming the doors and pushing on the glass vs the door. The door handles are smooth when opening form the inside or out. The doors are solid and not sagging or making dry noise at the hinges. The mirrors are remote... yes, it has the passenger mirror, and these cars look odd without one. The rear defogger works nicely. The tilt is not wore out, firm and solid. The power antenna motor makes a noise, but antenna is not moving. The power seat works in all directions. The trunk release works as it should. THe clock keeps time. The tires are like new, not dry rotted or cracking or wobbly. The Buick Road chrome road wheels and correct electra center caps are nice including the spare, jack etc. The trunk is amazing. The paint is very nice. There are a couple noticeable paint flaws, one on the hood and one on the drivers rear door on the upper part. The chrome bumpers are super, the grill and tail panel are nice and clean. No rust anywhere on the car. The underside is dry and super nice, not crusty rusty or nasty at all. The engine compartment is untouched and decent. No grease or nasty scaly rust issues. Has had the 4 core radiator replaced at some time with proper 4 core radiator. Battery is newer. Exhaust is newer. Vinyl top is super, one small old man patch on pass side at body trim, used clear silicone at crack, not sure why.... Seats are very comfy, headliner is perfect, carpet and interior are very nice, never trashed or abused... no smells, no pet stains or hair etc. Original books dealer related pamphlets etc in glove box, with org purchaser info. Jack is complete, floor mats (set is buick org and decent) I would rate this car a 8.5 on a 10 because of two paint issues and engine not being detailed up with armoral etc. I would take off on a trip around the world in it without lifting the hood right now. NO ISSUES, NO PROBLEMS.
