1972 Camaro Z28- (Real Z28) · Rare & real deal 1972 4 speed Camaro Z28 for sale. There were only 2500 of these Z28's built in 1972. These are the second lowest production Z28's ever which are making them highly collectible! The value for this car in number3 “good” condition on Hagerty’s web site is $26k. You will see lots of tribute or clone cars out there but this will hold its value and is priced way below the average for the great condition of this car. · This car was painted about 5 yrs ago hugger orange with blk stripes. Hood and decklid were just repainted in past couple months with correct template black z28 stripes as they were incorrect. The paint is an 8 out 10. There are a couple chips but overall the car shines and looks fantastic. The hood and decklid were just buffed out to mirror finish. · Texas car very clean and rust free. Underside of car is very clean with solid floor pans and frame. The only rust I can find on the car is some bubbles on inside corner of dashboard but other than that this car is very solid and rust free. · 350ci engine NOM. I was told when I purchased it that the engine had about 80k miles and was pretty close to a stock engine. I have driven this car on long cruises and it runs strong and very dependable. I have had no problems overheating in the 100+ degree days and always starts. · The car drives straight and true and shifts smooth. · 4barrel carb just rebuilt w/new electric choke · Borg Warner Super T10 4-Speed Manual Trans with Hurst shifter. I just had the seals replaced within past month on the trans to fix some small leaks. · 10bolt Posi rear. Believe it’s a 3.42 gear but have not verified. · HEI electronic ignition · New oil pan gasket within past 3 months to fix oil leak · New dynamat sound deadening on interior · New bushings installed for entire front subframe. · New carpeting · New dashboard · New headliner · New seat covers front and rear seats · New package tray · New glove box · Power front disc brakes w/ recent new brake booster a year ago. Rear brakes are stock drum. · Power steering · New weather strip on doors & Trunk. · Heater is working · All turn signals and lights work. · New door and trunk locks · Traction bars · New flowmaster dual exhaust · New valve covers & gaskets. · New rear tires within past year. Front tires still have some life on them. · Headers · New speedometer cable. · Have rear stabilizer bar that comes with the car. Off the car now because of traction bars. · I have new chrome rocker panels that go with the car but prefer the look without them so never put them on. What it needs · No Radio or speakers installed- uncut dash and package tray ready for your radio and speaker preference · Turn signal return shutoff does not work. After you make a turn the signal does not turn off and have to manually turn the signal switch back off. I believe there is some toggle in the steering column but have not looked into it. · There is a small power steering leak which may be just a hose connection but have not had it looked at yet. Nothing major just a spot on the garage floor I noticed recently. The gas guage is touch and go as it seems to stick and may need a new sending unit-Call to set up a showing.
