For sale is a very nicely done 1969 Z/28 Camaro. This is a true Z/28 and not a clone. Cowl tag shown in the attached pictures shows that this is an X33 car built in Norwood in May of 1969. It came from the factory painted Lemans blue with dark blue interior. Car is now blue with gray stripes with very nice blue interior with gray inserts in the seats. The gauges in the console are upgraded Stewart Warner and the dash tac and speedometer are also updated. The steering wheel is a stock Corvette piece.
This car although an original Z/28, the engine and transmission are not original to the car. The engine is a healthy Chevy 350, 4-bolt main, Doug Thorley headers, Holley carb, MSD ignition, distributor and coil, roller rockers, World Products heads, etc.
Transmission is a Tremic T56 - 6 speed transmission with a hydraulic clutch. Shifts effortlessly through all gears. Rear end is the stock prostration 12-bolt with 4.88 gears. I have the 4.11 gears that it came with available, but with the double over drive of the Tremic, you barely are revving the engine at 70 mph on the freeway.
All other mechanical parts on the car are stock. The wheels are staggered rallies with very good tires.
