This Mopar was restored this car from the ground up. It was a Oklahoma car, very little rust at all, restored new metal on it anyway. Everything is basically new, or newer. Had a 383 in it when purchased it, but it was not original. So the car is not a 'numbers matching' car. Now has a 440 built for it, at a machine shop in OK. Mikes machine Shop. Good Mopar man. It is a 9.5 to 1 motor apx 5,000 miles on it. with Six Pack Pistons, a 284 purple cam, late 70's heads. . Basically the 906 style with hardened seats. HD 4 clutch Trans built by Mopar Racing Nut. New Stall converter. 3.55 Sure Grip, New front end, Disc Brake Conv. New Torsion Bars, Cross bars to tie frame rails together. New HD Rear Springs, Shocks, Rear Brakes etc. Alum. Rad. X Exhaust system, Elect. Fuel Pump. Alum Intake, New Gas Tank, and lines. New Summit Carb. Runs Handles, and Drives awesome.
It was a darker green original all, but I had it painted Go Green, or Sassy Grass. The paint job is OK-rated 7 out of a 10. Did not Block it enough. The quality of the Paint and Primer as good, just an average paint job. Not a 'Show Car. But it is a few dollars from a awesome, one of a kind Mopar. The up side is you can drive this anywhere (very reliable).No problems. Zero Rust, Great stock Motor and Drive train.The Interior was redone and is OK, not perfect. Front Bench seat out of a 69, Radio is out of the car, but I have it, The motor ,Trans, and Rear end have be rebuilt by Professionals. Frankly, this car is not that far from being Ridiculously Awesome, and on a Mag cover? People LOVE it.
